If you’re undertaking a home renovation this winter, consider adding a fireplace to your blueprints. With the wide variety of fireplace options available, you’ll be able to enjoy the warmth of a fireplace anywhere in your home!
Wood Burning Fireplace
A wood burning fireplace is often seen as traditional. While many times they are found in family or living rooms, during a home renovation, you can have a wood burning fireplace installed almost anywhere in your home. Our popular See-Through Wood Burning Fireplace is a good option and some past customers have had it installed as a divider between the family room and the main entrance hallway.
Wood or Gas Stove
A stove — either wood burning or gas — adds charm and nostalgia to any room it’s installed in. Often it’s the focal point of the room and with firebox upgrades, they allow for complete combustion and higher efficiency.
Harding The Fireplace offers a large selection of gas fireplaces that can be seamlessly incorporated into your home renovation. An advantage of a direct vent gas fireplace is that they don’t require electricity to operate and are often a good option for backup heat in the winter season.
Many of our electric fireplaces are extremely thin and can be installed with little to no demolition. There are also a number of varieties to choose from — from traditional orange flames to a glittering glass ember bed with blue flames.
We have over 4,500 square feet of retail showroom space devoted to fireplaces and BBQs. We take the time to understand our customers’ needs and are always prepared to schedule a home visit to help you decide which products are suited best for you.
Harding The Fireplace is an official sponsor of the Ottawa Redblacks.
